Carefully remove fastening line after opening the Korea Strip packaging. Cut Kor-CLS to desired lengths using a diamond cutter or file saw.
Note : If you remove all of the fastening lines at once, it may release the product rolls too drastically and cause hazard or rewinding. Therefore, carefully cut it to the length required in reinforcing work design
RESTORATION OF CONCRETE SECTIONS
Fill noticeable cracks or dents on the concrete surface with high strength mortar, epoxy mortar etc. Finish the mortar surface roughness within 1mm or less. Apply rust-proofing chemicals to exposed steel rods. Fill cracks with epoxy resin or similar materials. Apply water-proofing or guiding materials to sections where water is leaking.
CONCRETE SURFACE TREATMENT : GRINDING
Expose firm surface of given strength by removing paint, contaminations or deteriorated areas of the concrete surface using a grinder or similar tool to ensure Kor-CLS will have sufficient cementing force, even the concrete surface by removing protruding parts. Thoroughly remove grinding dust with compressed air or a rug. Dry sufficiently when cleaned with water.
A. STRIP PREPARATION. Mix the adhesive base and hardener evenly according to a 2:1 ratio. Weigh the base and hardener using a scale to adhere to the given ratio. Abandon mixed adhesive when its useful life is over. No solvent of whatever type should be mixed in with the adhesive. The use of any thinning solvent or any coating roller or brush is strictly prohibited.
B. ADHESIVE COATING. Coat the adhesive on the concrete surface using a rubber spatula in 1mm thickness to enhance the cementing force. Also apply the mixed adhesive to the ground side of the Korea Strip. The adhesive coat shall be 4mm thick (standard coat amount: 6 kg/㎡).
C. STRIP CEMENTING. Attach the adhesive-coated Korea Strip to the concrete surface by pressing. Press hard enough to let the excess adhesive soak between the Korea Strip panels using a rubber roller. 1) Remove the excess adhesive with a rubber spatula or dry rug. 2) Korea Strip attached to the concrete surface should be left alone for at least 30 minutes (three to four hours recommended) for sufficient curing.
Protect outdoor applied parts with vinyl covering from rain, dust or sand. Let KOR-CLS cure for 24 hours or more (apply sufficient curing time when low ambient temperature delays curing).
You may apply a finishing paint to the Korea Strip surface. It is desirable to apply a protective coat with urethane or fluoric paint to protect Korea Strip from ultra-violet rays. Painting should be performed after the initial curing of the Korea Strip adhesive. Determine the initial curing when a fingernail trace is not made. Follow the standard painting instructions.
Kor-CLS : Packing is 100m/roll.
Kor-CPA : Hardener(10kg), Base Resin(5kg).
